Night of Fate: A Winter Solstice Ritual

Inspired by the Norse traditions of Jól, this Winter Solstice gathering explores themes of fate, wisdom, and the choices that shape our future. As we honor the longest night of the year, participants are invited to pause, reflect on the paths already traveled, and intentionally weave the coming year with greater awareness.

The ritual draws upon the symbolism of the Three Norns, the keepers of destiny, and the wisdom of Odin as Rune-Lord. Through guided meditation, elemental invocation, and sacred storytelling, participants consider the relationship between the past that has shaped us, the present we are actively creating, and the many futures still waiting to unfold.

As the centerpiece of the evening, each participant will create a braided bracelet using three cords representing the Norns: the past, the present, and the future.
